|
Baula Project Instrumental music from Costa Rica. Federico Miranda on electric and acoustic guitars, Walter Flores on piano, keyboards and flute, Mario Álvarez on bass, Gilberto Jarquín on drums, and Carlos Tapado Vargas on percussion. The debut recording of Miranda as solo artist includes original pieces as 'Above Water', 'The nomad', 'Regression', and a new version of the Concierto de Aranjuez adagio by Joaquín Rodrigo. Inspired by experiences of contact with the ocean and nature, baula project carries a message of conservation and donates parts of its sales profits to the conservation of the leatherback turtle, or 'baula' in Spanish.
